Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (and 5) install problems

Oct 21, 2010 6:09 AM

Hi everyone ,

i'm a student multimedia in belgium, and i need Premiere pro for one of my lessons.

The program always worked fine, but when i want to start it now, he shows the message dialog ;

''Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."

I always used Premiere Pro CS5 but recplacing it with CS4 gives exact the same problem.

My laptop is above the minimum requirements and allmost everything has a recent update (video driver, windows update, adobe ... )

Searching the forums here didn't help because everyone said to update the video card and/or replace the current version of Premiere Pro with a new install or an older version.

I have to finish some work on Premiere Pro by next week and i don't really feel like installing premiere pro over and over again without any change

allready a big thanks for those wo can help me

    Welcome to the forum.

    Can you list the full specs. of your laptop, especially the video card, make/model, and your display driver, date/version number?

    Good luck,

    Hunt

    Roll Back Driver from Device Manager.
