Surprisingly the Desktop installed app has even less font then the Web App version. It would be great if the desktop version would allow us to use any font available to the system as some of us own many fonts that could be of great help when designing, even if they are rasterized or outlined when exported.

Thank you for your question. Project ROME currently provides its own set of fonts (which are server based) - private fonts (desktop fonts) are not yet supported.
That's for sure! If by chance I try to export my flash (to a Flash Catalyst for example) file that contains a ROME font, it will not (become a default), even if I add the same font on my system. I noticed that the sources used in ROME aren't of the system, but separated swfs files. I would like to see a solution to this case.
