Support for Olympus E-620 and Lens

Oct 26, 2010 9:36 PM

I don't see any support for Olympus in ACR 6.2. Where is it?

E-620 is already supported (was added some time ago). See this page:

Because it was supported prior to 6.2 ... if you're looking at the release notes, those only list the newly-added cameras.

The camera itself is supported.  That means it is possible to work on the raw files in Camera Raw.  But there is no support for the lens.  That is a different profile.  It will be necessary for you to wait and see if the profile is eventually provided, create one yourself, or see if there is one available online.

I am looking in ACR under lens corrections > profiles. No Olympus listed there.

Correct. Camera support and lens profile support are two different things.

Adobe does provide built-in camera support for the Olympus E-620, and has done so for many months.

At present, Adobe does not supply profiles for Olympus lenses.

On the other hand, you can use Adobe Lens Profile Creator to build your own.
