CC TONER vs. TRITONE

Is there any difference between CC Toner and Tritone.  I don't see any difference in the plug in or the resulting colors

    They are pretty much the same... CC Toner is just in there for compatibility in case someone opens an older project from a time when AE didn't have Tritone (was introduced in v7, if I remeber correctly).

    CC Toner is limited to 8bpc color. Tritone can do the full 32bpc.

    CC Toner is limited to 8bpc color.

     

    Mine does 16bpc... (CCFX HD)
