Reverting file back from live to offline view

Jul 11, 2007 9:03 AM

I somehow changed my view of my website file from normal offline to live online. I'm reluctant to work in this mode for fear of causing glitches to my site before pretesting offline. I'm unable to find any option to revert back. Any suggestions or known solutions? Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure you are describing... can you be more specific?
As long as you have not connected to the remote site, you shouldn't have any
problems with working on your page without it being sent to the server....

    Dear Nadja,

    I have a similar problem:
I used Dreamweaver for my website for two years, now I have a new program (i had to change because my firm wanted us to use all the same program). Therefore I want to put the old homepage offline, so that with google nobody can find it. Nevertheless I dont want to clear all the data because perhaps I want to use it again in some time.

    Thanks a lot
