Multiselect dropdown list in Lifecycle

Currently I am working on the dropdown list where I should be able to select the options one by one which will be appended in the dropdown value with some delimiter. I am able to do this in a textbox but no luck in the dropdown.

 

Can anybody help me in this regard.
