Create your own graphics using Project ROME!

Nov 17, 2010 11:30 AM

Hi Romans,

Ever want to add your own logo or graphic to your creations? Maybe you want to design a brand logo for your business or a festive turkey for your Thanksgiving cards and invitations.

Learn more about creating vector graphics using Project ROME. Here are two tutorials on vector graphics: http://bit.ly/95QpFl and http://bit.ly/cKYfG8. And, one interesting thing to note, you can even create your own custom shapes using the paint brush tool.

Let us know if you've enjoyed creating vector graphics in Project ROME, and if you had any trouble. We'd like to shape Project ROME with you in mind for the future!

Thanks,

Sarah

If you have shapes or artwork created in Illustrator, (or other suite products such as Photoshop, Flash, etc) can these be imported into ROME? This certainly could simplify workflow at our school.

    Hi CShockr,

A quick few tests reveal that Illustrator .AI and Flash .FLA and .SWF files are not yet importable into ROME, but that Photoshop .PSDs and Fireworks .PNGs are. I could see how Illustrator files would be useful. Perhaps a feature request?

    Hi Sarah and Romans,

I did not watch the video you suggested before working with vector graphics and everything was fine.
