Photoshop Elements 9 automatically accesses the internet when started

How do I stop Photoshop Elements 9 from automatically accessing my internet connection when I load it?  Thanks.

    In Organizer click Edit >Preferences >Adobe Partner Services

    Then disable “Automatically check for services” by leaving the check box blank.

    That will gray out the sub menu automatically.

     

    If you sync your albums or back-up photos to photoshop.com that will require a connection and you would need to turn off sync and log-out, but I‘m guessing you don’t use that service.

    I have already disconnected Adobe Partner Services, but the program still

    accesses my internet connection when loading.

    If you have the internet on then elements always connects for activation purposes.

     

    Are you getting some kind of dialog?

     

    Also you can make a shortcut to the pse9 editor or the pse9 organizer

    to bypass the welcome screen.
