I am moving my editing from cs4 to cs5.
I want to load my custom effect presets - I can't find them to import.
does anyone know the stock/standard file location for them?
it doesn't seem to be c:/user/me/documents/adobe.
nor C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS4\Presets
thanks!
1) Exporting them sounds great. Is there a way to export them all at once? I have hundreds of presets, and doing them one at a time is an unpleasant thought.
2) I would like to know where they are stored so I can back them up, even if I don't export. Can anyone answer the location where they are stored?
Thanks!
I apologize for the short answer.
I have spent about 20 minutes attempting to export all of my presets at once. I cannot figure out how to do it. I can export individual presets. I am hoping that someone can help me figure out how to do it.
Alternatively, if someone knows where they are stores, I could perhaps drag and drop them into the appropriate cs5 folders.
Thank you for your help.
Mark
It must be possible. I did it here.
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I don't know how to apply your suggestion in a way that works.
I apologize if I am not giving y'all the information that you need. I am doing my best.
All of my presets are in their own bin.
I have also created a new bin, then copied all of my presets to that bin.
I still do not know how to export the whole bin, only the individual presets.
when I right-click on the individual presets, the "export preset" option is available. This great and easy.
when I right-click on the bin that contains all of my custom presets, the "export preset" is grayed out. I do not know how to get it to work.
when I create a new preset bin, I don't get any import/export options in my right-click menu.
I am open to trying anything, or reading an article. I am generally skilled at figuring these types of things out, but I am stumped here.
Thanks
