Upgrading Education Version to Retail

I have the education version of CS3 Premium. My family got me the upgrade software to CS5 Premium package from Office Depot for Christmas. It sounds like it will upgrade my education version to the retail version, no? Will this upgrade work with the education version of CS3? Do I have to do anything special?

    Academic versions carry the same upgrade rights as commercial versions. The thing to be careful about is that you have the CS2/CS3 to CS5 upgrade and not the CS4 to CS5 upgrade.
