Carolina bar code

I need to add a barcode font that I have available in Word. Also have been asked to try the Carolina bar code font. Can you help with: 1) explaining how to add a font to the barcode library and 2) where I can locate additional barcode fonts.

    LiveCycle Designer does not use barcode fonts. Barcodes are defined using XSL-FO (Extensible Stylesheet Language - Formatting Objects). While an .xfo includes a font reference the font applies to the barcode label and not the barcode itself.

    Okay, then where does the list of barcode fonts get generated from? Should I be looking at Adobe Professional?
