I'm trying to migrate the data sources from one server running CF7 to a new server running CF9 (both on Linux). I created an archive on the old server, named it 20110308.car, put it on the new server, entered the path in the "Deploy an Existing Archive" section and clicked the deploy button and nothing happened. No error or anything at all. The page reloads and the form is blank and nothing is listed under "Current Archive Definition List." There is also no message the log files. What is going on here?
SOLUTION: I figured it out. I was using Firefox and it blocked the pop-up window that the admin interface created to step through the deployment process (but no pop-up indicator showed in the status bar). I happened to try it in IE just in case it was something stupid like this and it worked. Annoying.
