If only there was information on how I could watch things on my computer…![]()
Exactly WHAT do you wish to watch?
Live action, as it happens?
Traffic on the H-1 (Honolulu, HI)?
AV files that are streamed, or downloaded and played?
Lot of "stuff" out there, and knowing what you want to see might be helpful. Now, if the Sham-wow "critter cam" is all you are looking for, then you have a good link there.
Good luck,

This has gotten tiresome.
I've reported the latest spammer (http://forums.adobe.com/people/ssigenetem343).
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is trying to clean this place up, but I'm done for a while. I find it disappointing (but not surprising) that, among all the other failings of this so aptly named Jive software, it completely fails at any effective method of stopping/ blocking spammers. The fact that it can take the admins here days to clean it up doesn't help either.

Your timing is off a bit too. My post didn't come before all the "watch xyz here" spam, but in response to it after many bogus spam posts. I suppose it was a bit dry, but that's how irony works. When they hit you over the head with a declaritive statement, you turn it around as the question that noone asked. If it were spam, I would have told you where to watch. I think Stix Hart and Dave got it.
I missed that. Guess that some of the early ones got hosed, before I ever saw them. "Timing" in the forum is a delicate thread, especially with housecleaning of spam. Sometimes, if you miss an hour, you miss a lot... ![]()
Sorry that the irony was lost on me, and that I was so quickly on the defensive. Please accept my apologies.

No biggie…but I wonder what would have happened if you had reported me as a spammer. Would my access to the Adobe forums be yanked, or would I be given the opportunity to be heard on the matter? I've been here for over 10 years, and have posted many more times than my profile suggests, so it would be disturbing if just being called a spammer would be taken as truth because of one report.
I normally take a "wait and see" attitude, unless it is very obvious. In your case, it was NOT obvious, but I did have some reservations, and they were not "a table for two at 9:00PM." ![]()
Some others jump at many posts, claiming "SPAM," and I try to play it straight, and answer questions, as though the post is legit - until I am proven wrong.
Going back to the NNTP days, it was a common tactic, where one poster would drop by a news group, with what seemed like a legit question, though sometimes these were a tad odd. The regulars would come forth with their answers, only to be rebuffed. Suddenly, there would be a flurry of posts with links to the "ultimate answer," and these would always be to a commercial site. I have seen that with Photoshop, wine & food, travel, and many other subjects. After a bit of reflection, I wondered if that was what was going on here. I now know that it was not. That re-enforces why I seldom jump to conclusions In this case, the worst that I had to manage was to side-step your post, when reporting the obvious spam, just due to the title. I managed that, though did almost have the URL to this post on two occasions. Fortunately, I realized my error, and changed things in plenty of time.
No hard feelings?

Probably they would've realized the error: I mistakenly reported MSTUNER (whom I did not know was a regular) as a spammer & several people quickly corrected me.

How about a solar powered Wood Duck nesting box with IR camera?

Yes, and fish eat plants, and plants soak up sunlight...
Smartass. ![]()
Actually, I'm not completely sure the nesting box at the link I referenced above is solar powered. There was another one I was originally going to post that IS, but when I actually looked, it appeared mom was gone, and I didn't see any eggs. But now she's back! This was the original link I was going to post the first time.

And yes, that is definitely a solar powered duck.

Noel,
If I am following you, this is a wooden duck, that is solar powered?
Wow, what will they think of next?
Hunt
So, are you following a solar-powered wooden duck? Or are you following Noel, who is following the solar-powered wooden duck? And, where to?
I'm so confused (the normal state of things).
One of the two hatched her eggs several days ago and is long gone from the box/nest. I hope they're doing well. The other one is due in a few days, and now they've put up a second cam so the little ones can be seen jumping out of the box when it comes time. I crafted a little HTML that brings 'em both up side by side. ![]()
