Transparent graphics

How do I get graphics I create in Photoshop to be transparent in Flash?

    When you start the creation in PhotoShop be sure that you choose "transparent background.. File / New / in the "content" section. Unless you do this you will not get a transparent background.

    Then create your graphics and save the file as a file type with supports a transparent background, like the .png or .gif file type... NOT a .jpg, which does not support having a transparent background.

    Import into Flash and away you go.
