Photoshop Remote Connection Password Not Saving

Been trying unsuccessful to change the default 4 char password to the required 6 character or longer version. I enter a new password, Click OK. Then upon reopening the dialog the password has reset back to the 4 char version. I have tried with the Connection enabled and disable. Restarting my Mac, and trying again.

 

Thoughts?

    It's saving every time.

     

    For security reasons, we don't store the actual password and can't display the exact length of the password.

    As with most password dialogs/fields - what you see by default is a dummy entry (the 4 dots).
