Catalog discrepancy

When I click to synchronize one of my folders, it tells me there are 3 images to import. I OK this, it does its thing, and then it tells me there are no photos to import. However, there are still 3 images to import when I try to synchronize the folder again. How can I resolve this?

    I suspect the images in question already exist in some other folder within LR. Try doing the following to confirm:

    • Check "Show import dialog before importing" in the "Synchronize Folder" dialog before synchronizing
    • In the import dialog that follows, select "All Photos" instead of "New Photos" at the top
    • You should now see the images in question in the grid, dimmed
    • If you really want to import them, uncheck "Don't import Suspected Duplicates"
