i've been attempting to implement soft masks, but have come across a problem that i can't work out. I've got everything working to a point. Both images are being added fine and the 1 color grayscale mask is successfully masking the image it's assigned to, but the mask itself is still showing?
Having looked at other implementations, some use the solution of just 'hiding' the mask by positioning it out side of the pdf page, but this seems like a bit of a hack. Is there a correct way to ensure that the image acts a a mask, but does not appear in the PDF?
