thats way too vague of a question... best what? quality? size? playback?

best quality then use high bitrate, small size use low bitrate.

Stan Arthur,

I need the best quality HD video I can possibly get but it must still be an MP4 file. I am using it to put on an Ipad. Does Cs5.5 even export as Mp4 files? I am unsure of how to even export it as HD. I am unfamiliar with all the settings. The only thing I know is that I need to set it as an Mp4 file and I need to have the best HD quality I can get and use it on an Ipad.

Digitlman,

I need the best quality and playback for being under 10 mb. I am exporting a promotional sales video for a company and need it to look very good in HD but it has to be mp4 file because it needs to work on an Ipad app.

Under the H.264 are several ipad presets.

Experiment with those.

Looks to me 720p is the largest export format.

If you choose H.264 for Format, it will be an .mp4 file. Do not choose Quicktime. Choose H.264 from the Format drop-down. Then choose a preset that best suites your audience.

It makes it mp4. It does not make it HD. The PRESET you choose makes it HD or whatever else you choose. I'll make a little video tutorial to help explain it to you. Check back here a little later.

You have been more than helpful! Thank you soooo much I was very stressed out with the whole thing and I greatly appreciate you taking time to make the video just for me! I finally figured it out. Everyone is more than willing to elp you out on the adobe forum site, its wonderful ok so one last question, I suscribed to this forum hoping to get emails just about the question I posted so I knew when someone posted on my question , but I am now gettting them from everyones questions under this forum. How do i select so that I only recieve email notifications for when someone answers my questions?
