Conflict with Outlook and Photoshop CS5.5

I have using Photoshop CS5.5 on a Windows XP Professional email client Outlook 2003. When I send a PDF e-mail from the webpage, the email will not send as long as i close Photoshop CS5.5.

 

Anyone else experience this problem.

    I've never had much luck sending things directly through Outlook 2003.  Honestly I think it's Outlook's fault (poor implementation, and I have no idea whether newer versions of Outlook work any better as I have not upgraded).

     

    More predictable operation can be had by saving the file(s) you want to send from Photoshop (or wherever), then creating an eMail in Outlook the normal way and just attaching the files.
