What are .vfo files?

In my public documents folder, I found THOUSANDS of files with the extension .vfo. I didn't think they were anything important so I moved them into another folder. When I moved these files to another folder, every single one of my Adobe Premiere projects were made inaccessible. I then moved them back into the Public Documents folder but my Premiere projects were still inaccessible. Does anyone have any idea what .vfo files are?

I could not find anything or any files with .vfo. Must be something unique to your file format, what are you editing?

That happened to me and I noticed that those files were not mine because I didn't have that big amount of files in my Document file so I restored my computer in a date before that happened.and all of them desapeared.
