I have recently uprgraded to IE9.  I am now getting messages from various web sites that I need to have Flash Player 9 or above installed.  I have a v10 from 4/5 installed on my computer.  I tried to download the current version from the site and nothing happens when I click on the download button.  I get the screen with security related shots and no button to click for the download.  Can anyone help me.

Hi, Since IE9 has new features, you may want to check this one out:

To turn on ActiveX Filtering
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then click ActiveX Filtering.
To turn off ActiveX Filtering on a specific website
In Internet Explorer, click the Filter button in the Address bar, and then click Turn off ActiveX Filtering.
To turn off ActiveX Filtering on all websites
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then click ActiveX Filtering.

Hello again. I followed the instructions you sent. There is nothing filtered on the site and still get the same result. Nothing downloads. Any other ideas, please!

If you still cannot install the latest FP version, try downloading the installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

Hi, I'm not sure what is happening. Perhaps a step in the procedure is not being done. Try this Manual Uninstall & Install.

Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for IE- use the EXE Installer

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

Close all browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.

Disable any messenger services, as yahoo, msn, etc in the system tray(area near the clock)

Disable any Anti-Virus that runs in realtime(background)

Be sure to use the Administrator Account.

Run the Uninstaller and when finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.

Run the Installer for IE, and when finished, Reboot.

Reenable what you Disabled.

Then go to this test site and test each browser:

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

You should see the Flash Player logo(Red F) animate(spin) and the version of Flash Player displayed.

Printing this out would be helpful, since you will be off line.

Let me know,
