Can't enter full Pantone Plus numbers into swatch maker

Jul 7, 2011 8:31 AM

When I try and create a new swatch and choose the Pantone Plus Solid Coated library, there isn't enough room in the window to enter the number. The window gets filled in with the word "PANTONE" and only accepts a number or too, and since the Pantone colors are no longer in numerical order, it is almost impossible to create a swatch with a specific Pantone Plus color in mind. Is this just a CS4 issue or is it a Pantone Plus issue? When you choose the old PMS library, the numbers are in numerical order and the word PANTONE stays outside of the number entry box.

What version of InDesign are you using? Are you patched to the latest update?

It's nice that they put out an update to fix this in CS5. No such luck for us CS4 folk unfortunately.
