Mobile Detection scripts

HI-

I have a mobile testion script on my site that looks for three scenarios,

 

browser >> sends to one home page/css

 

smart phone >> smart phone /css

 

smaller handheld device >> handheld /css

 

I know it works properly when i test it in real life with various devices. As soon as I try to test the site in Adove Device Central, it appears to dismiss the script altogether and only serve up the full website.

Do you know if by chance Adobe Device Central ignores detection scripts? Or since I am in an emulator that is on a desktop machine does it think I am on a full web browser?

    I know this is an old post but I'm having the same issue. I've tried a bunch of different user-agent strings and nothing seems to work.
