Flash Card Reader Problem

Jul 17, 2011 9:33 AM

I had been using my Kingston flash card reader connected via USB to my PC to  read my video files on my SanDisk Extreme 32GB flash card.

But now the flash card drive does not come up.

I took a screen shot of the Device Manager.

Any suggestions on how to get this device going again?

I just have had a somewhat similar problem with an intermittant USB 2 connector.  Have you tried other USB ports and/or another cable if it is a seperate cable.

    >The USB port works but it doesn'r have a good driver for a flash card anymore

For Windows problems (if this is one) search at http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US

What you MAY want to do (search first) is remove the USB via Control Panel and then restart, so Windows will reinstall the driver
