My raw video looks fine in the preview window but when I put a clip in the time line and play it it looks as though it was shot with a 15 fps and when I export the video and play it on MS Media Player the output video looks as though it was shot at 15 fps.
When I open a new project and and add my raw video in it the problem exists.
When I open an old project and view the video in the timeline it looks fine and when I add my new raw video to the old project it looks fine.
Have I put Pr in a mode that causes the low frame rate effect?
I use wide screen standard definition.
I have a Canon XF-A1a.
I load tapes in using Windows Live Movie Maker and I get the default .avi files on my PC.
I also use my FS-H200 recorder with my A1 in the mode that produces Type 2 avi files.
I mistakenly created a DV-24 Sequence and put the video segments from my recorder on the time line.
I made a single 1 hour long file to use instead of the short segments.
I used the same DV-24 segement to edit my video.
The tape files on timeline looked a lot better than the concatenated file made by that same DV-24 segement.
I started all over again using the usual DV-NTSC sequence
