Display x & y while making a new guide

It's really annoying to not have the x & y position of a guide displayed when dragging a guide onto the artboard. I know I can "just" drag the guide on, go to View > Guides > Lock Guides, then drag the guide into position.......!!

 

Photoshop can do it, why not Illustrator?!
