The 64 bit installer installs the 64 bit and the 32 bit Flash Player.

It seams that at the moment there is no 64-bit settings manager available.

That is the reason that this doesn't work:

    https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-7478

But why is the "Flash Player (32-Bit)" icon in (Windows 7) "Control Panel -> System and Security" and not "Control Panel -> Programs" ?

The Java icon is there too.

During development we determined there was no need or benefit for having a 64-bit control panel.  As you have noticed its a 32-bit control panel and easly found if viewing the Control Panel in Icon not catagory mode.  Generally, in Windows 7 I find it easier to find most controls using that view state.

As for the Jira bug listed.  That is a valid bug and we will be looking into, thank you for pointing that out.
