Greetings,
I just received Captivate 5 (build 5.0.0.596) and in general like the program and stability. What I am having a little difficulty with is the changed interface.
The new (default) interface takes up a lot of monitor space. Additionally, some functions such as (in Captivate 4) double-clicking a caption on the timeline and opening up floating window with tools, don't seem to be present.
I was wondering if there is a setting to display the control interface as it was in Captivate 4. Is this possible?
Also, is build 5.0.0.596 the latest build?

LOL, speak for yourself Rod I *STILL* struggle with this!
Did I mention I think the drab and dark OWL interface stinks? ![]()
It really is too bad that there isn't a vote and overall consensus before an interface change is unceremoniusly foisted upon the users.

Hi Rick,
I have a tendency of agreeing with you. The dark background color with black text is a little harder on the eyes. I also liked the floating windows that would open when double-clicking a timeline element, then close when you click the accept button. However, the biggest problem I have is with the huge amount of screen real estate needed to have all the controls I use to be available. I suppose I can set my screen resolution higher, but then reading is more of a strain. Right now I do a lot more scrolling than I used to.
As Rod mentioned, I guess I'll just have to get used to it. I'll find a happy medium somewhere.
Thank you both for your quick responses.
