Unable to download Adobe Reader:

I receive an error message:  There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader.

If it is running, please exit and try again. (1074724867:3)

 

I've Deleted Adobe Reader program.,  Turned off McAfee Then tried to re-install.

Reinstalling stopped at 45% installed and I get error message "cannot contact reliable source".

clicked "finish": Adobe Reader did not install successfully.

Tried several times without success.
