I have a PDF form that when submitted has opened fine for us until recently. Now, when I try to open it I get the following message from Acrobat: Adobe Reader Protected Mode. When I choose Open w/ Protected Mode Disabled it opens both Adobe Reader and an IE screen. Neither of which contain the document. If I right click and choose to open in Acrobat 9 I get a Security Warning stating that Acrobat is attempting to connect to the document via our website. Again, IE opens to my homepage rather than the document. I've tried everything I can think of and my searches have generated similar issues but none the same. I've tried some of their work arounds just in case with no results. I'm on a PC running Windows XP. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Melissa
Usually the document would have been located on a folder on the machine where it was created. You seem to feel it was opening from the server, but I really doubt that. If you open the FDF file in a text editor you should be able to see the file name and the location. My guess is that you have moved the original file recently.
To load the data file, you can always open the PDF and then import the data file form the FORMS menu.
