grayscale printing in illustrator CS5

Hi,

I have Illustrator CS5 and I dont print graphics (rectangle, circle, etc) in real color only in grayscale, in monitor show real color but when I am printing the paper show grayscale.

the images are printing in real color, normal.

what is It hapenned?

Someone have similar problems.

I call Adobe support, they told me to press crtl+shift+double clic to reset preferences, but I dont execute this operation, always load the Illsutrator and no show window to reset the preferences.

please help me

    Alvaro,

     

    The simple way to reset the preferences is to press Ctrl+Alt+Shift during startup of Illy.

     

    You may read on (and see a more thorough, and reversible way of resetting) following this link: Move the folder.

    Sounds like your raster elements are printing in color, and your vector elements are going grayscale. Try Print >> Advanced >> Custom >> Slide Raster Vector balance to Raster.

    This may be a temporary solution for what may be a .ppd problem, what printer/Poscript level/ printer driver are you using?
