RC1 problem on Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express graphic card

Hi,

 

I have tested the new RC1 on Windows 7 32bit with Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express graphic card.

 

With  FP11 beta2 everything was fine, but with rc1 there is  no hardware accerlation anymore.

 

I use wmode=direct.


Why is there no GPU accerlation anymore?

    your driver is black listed because of compatibility concerns, if you download the latest Intel GMA driver from station drivers and do a manual(device manager) install, it should fix it, unfortunately the newer drivers have a hardware check built into the setup.exe which will fail to run on older cards, even  though the driver itself supports them natively.

    I tried to install manually but with no luck. The windows couldn't accept the driver that I installed manually.

     

    I tried to install the driver with the setup and it has been installed but no GPU support yet.

    Isn't there a way to ingnore the black listed only in debug mode or something like that?

     

    I'am in a middle of a project and I can't continue to develop in software mode because it's too slow.

    I have almost the same problem here. I have the Asus EEEPC T101 with an Intel Atom Prozessor N450 and an Intel GMA 3150. With the Adobe Flash Player 11 Beta and Incubator everything worked fine, after the update on Flash Player Release Candidate 1 only Software rendering is working.

    That's really anoying, because it was working before and I can't continue my Project now. Does anybody has a solution to this?

    15.12.75.4 installs the 8.15.10.1930 driver.  I wonder if Flash is obtaining the driver version similar to the Intel GMA console which is a known bug (see Intel's 15.12.75.4 release notes http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18228/eng/relnotes_win7-64_gfx.htm).  The Intel published "known issues" is that "The driver’s user interface may display incorrect driver version." on the mobile 965 express chipsets.  In their GUI, it shows 8.14.10.1930.  Please ensure that this driver version is not black listed as there was never an 8.14.10.1930 driver, only an 8.15.10.1930 driver.

    I know I have a different GMA (3150), but I still have the problem that Stage3D and StageVideo isn't working anymore. Intelpage tells me that I have the newest driver installed (verrs. 8.14.10.2230). What can I do to get at least the SV working again?

    8.15.10.2302 appears to work with Flash 11 just fine with hardware acceleration enabled

    The latest driver I can get for the GMA 3150 is 8.14.10.2230. With this driver Version Hardware acceleration with Flash Player RC1 (on Win7 32Bit) does NOT work. With Flash Player 11 Beta it does.

    2302 is for the 4 series (and others).  The 965 is not the 4 series (it is actually sort of in between the 3 series and 4 series).

    False, the intel driver is UDA and works just fine on the 965 GMA 3000

    There is no definitions in the inf for the 965 or 3 series and Intel specifically states "not compatible".  While it may work in some instances, it is 100% unsupported by Intel for the 965.  My statement was not false.

    Adobe realeased new public version of Flash. But there is still no GPU Acceleration on the Intel GMA 3150.

    I set the swf-version to 13 and the params.wmode = "direct". On the old incubator and beta version of FP11 it is working. On the official version, which was released yesterday (11.0.1.152), and the RC1 it is not!

     

    How can I change this?

    I am showing a Hardware Acceleration check box (checked at this time) on my Mobile 965 Express using the 8.15.10.1930 released driver (DLLs show 8.14.10.1930).  My queston would be: "Does this mean that GPU acceleration is actually being used?"  If not, how do we confirm/disprove that GPU acceleration is being used without writing a special Flash app.
