Top Menu button strangely sends to a submenu

In my DVD build, I have a main menu and two submenu's.

Main menu is first play.

It has three video clips to select to play

and two submenu's to select.  For some reason in any clip being played the Top Menu button is sending me to one of the Submenu's.  It is not chosen as the end action for any timeline.

 

I know I'm doing something wrong.  Somebody please straighten me out?

    I do not understand you fully, but I think you need to look at the end action on your timelines. Set them to "last menu." Make sure you have no overrides set anywhere in the project.

     

    Edit: if that is not it, please post a screenshot of your flowchart and describe what you want to happen. For example, when you click button 1 on the main menu, you want video A to play and return to the main menu.

    I think in the Disc Properties in the Properties Panel, your Title Button is set to the subtmenu you are mentioning.

    Set this Title Button to the menu you want to see when Top Menu button is pressed.
