App per country

Sep 16, 2011 3:49 AM

Hi All

I know it's a Apple issue, but I would like to know if I distribute one app for UK, Does other country will see it in the Apple Store ?

The problem is that I would like to create one application for US, and another one (same name) but content different for toher countries (France UK etc..)

But I don't want the 2 apps appear in the Apple store... It will confuse readers.

You choose your territories in iTunes Connect. In your case, I imagine that you'd have to create multiple apps, each with its own unique Adobe ID and its own product ID, in order to deliver different content to different countries.

    You can.

The apps have to have separate SKUs (unique IDs), and one has to be set for sale only in US appstore, while other – elswhere (any appstore except US).

    No.

    It is a per-country, not per-language setting.

The App store is seperated by country. The US store connected users will not see your UK version of your app in the US store. But if they access to the UK store, they will see it but unable to install it.

I hope it answers to your question.
