Question from a new user - protecting work...

Hi all
In 2008 whenever I was waiting outside school for my children to come out, I used the time to author a non-fiction book. I want to be able to allow people to download it (for the appropriate fee!!) from my website.
I wrote this book myself so it's a copywritten item. What I don't want is for people to be easily able to copy, extract text from, or print this e-book - just to try and keep some kind of handle on it.
Can someone tell me the steps for whilst I'm creating the .pdf, what settings I select from which Menu's to secure it as much as poss??
