I have installed Adobe Air 126.96.36.19910 on my Windows Vista SP1 32 bit. Rebooted. Download the Adobe Configurator installation file configurator2_p1_052610.air When I double click on it my computer does not know what program should run it. The file's icon is the generic icon. I don't know what .exe to point it to. I can rename the extension .zip and open it and everything appears to be there so I don't think its corrupted. I deleted the file and downloaded again with the same results. I have Adobe Photoshop and InDesign CS5. Does anybody know what's wrong?
You should find Adobe Air at this locations:
Windows Vista and Windows 7 [64 bit] : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe AIR\
Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 [32 bit]: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe AIR\
If you have still problem try to reinstall Adobe Air maybe the AIR runtime/framework, maybe it wasn't properly installed.
