Unable to change transition speed for Jquery Cycle under Adobe Widgets

Hi,

 

I used the Jquery Cyle from adobe widget browser to display images on my website.

 

Unfortunately, I am unable to modify the speed setting.  It defaults to 1000 and when I try to change it, to 5000 for instance, it does not appear to change the transition.  It just stops.  I've played with the jquery code to see if I could change it there without success.  I just want to slow it down
