AC 5.5 FMR audio out of sync with action

Hi AC guru's

 

I have an FMR slide where on playback the audio starts to fall behind the action, it starts fine but gets worse the longer I record a FMR slide and at the end of a 5 min slide could be 3 or 4 seconds out of sync.

Publishing the project doesn't solve it and since the audio is recorded as 1 file which at the start of the slide is in sync but towards the end has lagged behind its not possible to just move the audio in the timeline to re-align it

Why is this happening and how do I fix it

    Would it make any difference to increase the frame rate or audio rate or would that just increase the file size with no improvement in the syncronisation of the video to the audio?

    Is there any advise other users can provide to help keep audio and video in sync during FMR?
