Bridge supposedly isn't "closed"

Hi, I'm trying to download the newest Dreamweaver.  When I go to install the program, it says I must close Adobe Bridge before continuing. Bridge isn't open.  I've completely shut down several times.  I decided to do it the hard way and uninstall Photoshop (taking Bridge with it) but then I get the same error.  That I must close Bridge before continuing. I'm stuck.  Thank you for your suggestions!

    You have the box checked in advanced preferences to "load Bridge on startup".  So Bridge is always running in the background.

     

    You have 2 options, you can uncheck this option and shut down Bridge (use file/exit rather than clicking on red X).

     

    Or you can open task manager and click on processes tab and search for Bridge.exe and shut it down.

    Yes, but not sure how to close it. 

     

    Can uncheck the option and reboot computer and you will be fine.
