Can I access files within a captive AIR runtime package

Oct 27, 2011 5:38 PM

Hello,

I'm wondering if it's possible to get access to a file that is bundled in a captive runtime AIR app. Is there anything like File.applicationDirectory that points to the contents of the bundle itself? I'd like to bundle files within my app and have access to them at runtime.

Thanks for any help!

Any file asset can be included in a library. Just include an asset library with your app build.

Use a relative path from the src directory in your codee to reference the file like any URI.
