maybe you turned the opacity to zero.

If the track is set to Show Opacity handles it is very easy to accidental pull down the yellow line (don't know the proper word for it)

Thanks Ann & Glenn,

I accidentally hit Toggle Track Output "EYE" Key and, disabled the monitor, to the left of the Opacity handle, in 6 years on other Premiere Pro I have never done that , the darkened display did not help, even Automate to Sequence seemed to disappear in CS5.5.1. But, all is now well thanks to you both it gave me the clue.

Glad you got it working.

When we do something that we dont realize we have done it makes it hard to figure out what we have done.
