TutorialBuilder.mxi file

Nov 3, 2011 2:20 AM

When I try to install the Tutorial Builder update I get a message saying it can't install because the TutorialBuilder.mxi file (C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Temp\TutorialBuilder_mxi\TutorialBuilder .mxi) can't be copied to the ProgramFiles\Adobe\AdobePSCS5(64Bit)\Plug-ins\Panels\TutorialBuilder folder. I've tried updating, then I deleted the extension and tried to start over from scratch, but still get the same message. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks!

    Hi Landailyn,

Are you still having this problem? In order to install Tutorial Builder, you have to run Extension Manager as administrator. To run as administrator, right click on it and select "Run as Administrator."

Let me know if this helps!

Great! To install Tutorial Builder you still need to run Extension Manager as administrator. But when you want to use Tutorial Builder to make tutorials, you no longer have to run Photoshop as administrator.

Happy to hear it is working for you!
