Hi.
using the adobe_prtk kit to alter our Serial number for CS5... it is reporting error 3, which is Serial Number is Not Well Formed.
The question I have is this? How should the serial number be written.
numbers with dashes.. i.e 1234-1234, or numbers with no dashes, i.e. 12341234, or numbers with spaces.. 1234 1234?
HELP PLEASE
Cheers
Apoligise for putting this in the wrong forum ( if I have)

Got around that issue. Serial number and now get a 0 response, but still it shows the 'trial' version of the product.
Reading the logs it looks to have gone through all OK.
Any tips on where to check to see if the serial number has gone in correctly, or if the package is on the 30 day trial still?? I'm looking under
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master collection\AMT\
the application.xml file shows a Data Key as TrialSerialNumber.
Does this mean it is using that trial number, or is it registered.
I'm finding that installing Adobe applications is becomng more and more convoluted as they get newer.
