Can't connect to mysql server

Hi,

I'm flash/flex beginner. After watching few tutorials I wanted to create sample. When I try to generate PHP service using remote MySQL server, I receive this error "Unable to connect to database using specified connection information: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 504 for URL: http://www-career/test1-debug/gateway.php".

User login and password are correct, it works in PhpMyAdmin. Can anyone help?
