Authentication with digital certificate / byte array

Hi All,

I'm reletively new to Flash Access and working on a project that will require integration for DRM.

A request put to me is that we integrate certificate an added layer of digital certificate authentication for FA3. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've been finding it difficult to find information regarding this on the internet.

As a second question, the client has requested that authentication be passed as a byte array rather than a username and password. Could anyone direct me to information detailing how to do this?

Hello,

We do indeed support custom authentication (authenticating with a byte array rather than a username/password).

More information on retrieving the custom authentication token (byte array) from the client's authentication request can be found in our documentation (starting at page 22): http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashaccess/3.0/FAXS_3_0_ProtectingContent .pdf
