Until ACR 6.4 I was able to open Hasselblad 3F-Files (.fff from the Hasselblad/Imacon Flextight scanners) with help of the Hasselblad 3F Plugin directly in Photoshop.
Since 6.5 (also tried 6.6RC1) this is not possible anymore (some error message that ACR cannot open this file format.
I was able to downgrade ACR to 6.4 and now it's working again.
I suppose the problem is that ACR6.5/6.6 tries to open this filetype instead of letting the plugin do this.
Any other suggestions?
Unfortunately this does not help.
I still get the same error message:
"Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.
Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for additional information."
As there seems not to be any simple solution to this problem, is there any form of bug report system to let adobe and the developers know?
I suppose there might be a problem between the fff-file-format of the hasselblad digibacks and the ones from the hasselblad flextight scanners.
Does the Hasselblad format (as facilitated by their plug-in, not Camera Raw) appear as a separate line item in the list of formats shown in the Photoshop File - Open As dialog?
If so, a workaround may be to choose File - Open As, then explicitly select the Hasselblad plug-in format.
