just a glitch with the "cloud" probably....
speaking of clouds.. how cool is THIS ?? !!!
This could be the future of how I can get to work in the nyc area in future.. without having to spend 3 hours in traffic to go 25 miles each way to work...
GO ROCKET MAN !!! TO THE RESCUE !!!!!
PS... as you watch various videos of this ...think about how it was shot and edited... etc ( planned to shoot etc)
is what we do , right ??
taking that idea one step further.. ( how to shoot it and edit ).... it is my opinion that
a) at least 10 successful flights would need to be completed before I take a passenger along ( pet doggy for example ... as they love sticking their heads out car window for both wind and smell -o-rama experience )..)
b) definitely wear fireproof pants and boots !

I use AdBlock for a reason. I don't want to see ads.
How do you think you get to see all that useful Internet content for free? You ready to pony up for a per-visit fee? It's users that employ software to circumvent the advertising that make my surfing life unnecessarily unpleasant, because the ad-makers have to resort to window-sized overlay ads that follow me down the page until I either wait a very long time or until I find the close button, or pop-up/-under windows that fool my browser into thinking they're *not* pop-up windows, or any of the other painfully intrusive ad mechanisms that seem to exist everywhere. If the blocking software wasn't so ubiquitous, maybe the advertisers would be content to just let everyone see their ads, without having to ram them down our throats.
It's eerily similar to software pirates forcing software companies to employ draconian security measures that make the honest users suffer for their sins.
I know I'm spitting into the wind here. <sigh>

thats the statement that matters. Everything else is justification and argument re: how to make it "work".
bottom line: who pays for it ?
as a society you could say " pay a tax per person in country" that gives you free content on free airwaves ... like bbc used to be...or you can come up with other suggestions that are reasonable for the content vs delivery of that content..but nobody in the world can "make stuff that costs them money" and give it away for nothing ...and live . I mean, look up the word " live " maybe ?
It means " survive " and "live" . Duh ????
Soooo if you want to pay for it as a tax out of paycheck and have free distribution, fine... but they in turn need to pay for the production they put on air ( or distribute ).
One way or another people take the risk fo making stuff, and distributers take the risk of getting it " shown" to you ... and somewhere down the line someone has to pony up and pay for it or it simply dies. The whole thing just gargles like a dead duck and dies.
That said, it is why the ' BEST' stuff generally is a living real media and distribution system. Laugh all you want, but if it aint good it won't last.
Advertising pays for all of the broadcast stuff, whether it is PBS or not... ( look at the pbs ads for gods sake ).
get real ! the only alternative is that you dont know what to do to monetize your own stuff and you are an idiot .

that statement is just a non sequitor (sp?).. makes no sense. monetizing programs has nothing to do with the morality of paying or the need of them in a pro environment ( and the support from the software developer) in comparison to content distributed publicly and produced for entertainment etc.
movies etc is one thing. Software piracy is another. 2 different animals.

the only similarity is the criminal aspect of stealing . You can steal software or you can steal movies.. but the act of " stealing" doesnt make movies and software " similar".
taking this logic one step further...
murder is generally considered " bad " in most societies. You know, just killing someone.
Sooo , if you kill a tyrant ( a bad KING ) that is bad.
If you kill a Congressman ( some wonderful person in the United States Of America - which is a constitution and not a 'country' per se , but who is at least a rep of some STATE )... that is bad.
Killing, in general is bad.
murder is bad.
but the fact that someone killed ( murdered ) a tyrant or a congressman isnt what makes murder bad. You dont justify or judge the " act " of murder depending on who got KILT. The same thing goes for piracy whether it is of movies or software etc.
You can't justifiy it based on what the bad act targeted. It is a bad thing to do , PERIOD.
I know most people would not see the relation between murder and piracy unless it was beer thirty ... so I will just say that it is morality and not the hurt that is imposed by an act of immorality that determines what is good.
or bad
be good for goodness sake ( merry xmas ! )
