Muse : Background Size Issue

Hey fellow Muse'rs

I'm having a strange issue setting a background image on my master... Hoping someone out there can help!!

My background image (JPG) is quite large... 1626 x 6622. It's for a vertically scrolling site.. very illustration heavy.

When I try to set the image as my background, it ends up scaling WAYYYY down to like 200x800.

I've also tried just inserting it as an element in both master and page mode, but the same thing happens.. and when I try to scale it to it's original size, it gets VERY pixelated.

Is there a dimension restriction on images in muse?
