Hi,
I am trying to link to an external site within my spry navigation, using the tabbed navigation. It shows the external link in the properties menu, but comes to the section on the page for the spry content. Any ideas?
I am trying to have one of the tabs link to an external site instead of to the content for that tab. RIght now I have it linking to that content section with text that says "click here to....." I am wondering if I can just get the link to go direct.
I am also having trouble linking from a text link in the body to a seperate content section. Sheesh - thought this would make things simplified and easy to use, but it's turning out to be tougher than I thought ![]()
Try
<li class="TabbedPanelsTab" tabindex="0"><a href="http://google.com/" onClick="window.location = this.href; return false;">HOME</a></li>
Gramps
Thank you so much Altruistic Gramps! That is exactly what I needed. I now just need to open the file in another window - I tried the "target="_blank" after the (in your example you supplied ahref="http://www.google.com") but it did not open in a new tab/window. Any ideas on that?
I still ahvent' found how to link to a point on a page - or, a point on the page which is actually another tab. Any ideas? (another words, I'm in a tab (we'll call it the home tab) and I want to link to a point on a page that is in another tab (we will call it FAQ). Any ideas on that?
