Hi all
Times ago I used CS Review to share some specific projects to a group of reviewers. Found CS Review very safety because these reviewers could see the pages, post comments and just it.
Now I´m using again the CS Review to share a new set of projects to a group of reviewers and have perceived the reviewers are able to EXPORT PDF from the content.
Is there any way to disable the Export to PDF button so reviewers can acess....read the informations..post comments..but do not do anything more..do not download it ? (only see online)
Thank you a lot
Gustavo.
Gustavo,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. There is no option to disable 'Export as PDF'. The 'Export as PDF' is a PDF preview of the content with a record of the comments, replies and flags, it is not the original content. There is no way to download the original content that was uploaded.
The restrictions to sharing that are:
1. Make a person a Reviewer so they can post comments, but not add content to the review as a Coauthor.
2. Do not allow Reviewers to share the review with additional people, only Coauthors and the original Author.

Gustavo,
My apologies, there is a way to disallow 'Export as PDF'.
From the menu in the top right choose Review > Review Settings. Uncheck "Allow reviewers to export this Review as a PDF file." and press the OK button. Now Reviewers will not be able to export, only Coauthors and the original Author.

Hi Katharine and Ken how have you been?
Long times we do not chat. I remember the times of CS Review Pre-tests ![]()
Ken thank you a lot
Well...Seems I do not have or I´m not able to find this Review Setting option inside my acrobat.com.
>>>Reviewers will not be able to export, only Coauthors and the original Author.
This is the best !!! and very suitable for me.
Could you help me to find this option to disable?
Thank you a lot
Gustavo.
Well, I see the pdf didn't make it so.. go to your CSR file, open it. Top right corner is "Review", click and 3rd from bottom is Review Settings that will take you the box where you can uncheck let reviewers print pdf... but don't forget to change your inviters to reviewer rather than author.
By the way....
Ken let´s suggest a FR?
A control panel for setting default rulers.
Almost all reviews I upload to acrobat.com I set everyone to Reviewer....
I also Set only co-authors can share the reviews to the others (so nobody inside could share)
And I (now) disable Export PDF.
If having a preferences control panel I could set this rulers and all reviews I upload it applies.
What do you think?
Best Regards
Gustavo.
